Senior Tax Accountant

Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review of federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and exempt organizations
- Analyze and review financial statements
- Perform tax research
- Resolve tax notices from IRS or other tax authorities
- Assist in federal, state and local tax audits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA candidates are preferred)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years accounting and tax preparation experience
- Proficient with accounting/bookkeeping softwares including QuickBooks
- Knowledge of Ultra Tax/Accounting CS software beneficial
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Experienced in financial statements preparation
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
