Job Description
Tax Senior Manager
Responsibilities for Accounting Tax Senior Manager

Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in individual, and pass-through entity matters

Experience with High Net Worth individuals, preferred

Assure compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations
-
Minimize tax liability through sound and informed application of laws and regulations

Ability to anticipate client questions and be prepared to respond with implementable, practical and innovative solutions

Review completed returns and reports to ensure that they meet professional and Firm standards
-
Manage/develop client relationships and loyalty

Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients

Supervise multiple engagements simultaneously

Participate in assigning duties, developing and training seniors and associates

Gain respect of clients and staff
Qualifications for Accounting Tax Senior Manager

7+ years experience in public accounting
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

Masters in Taxation//MBT a preferred
-
CPA license, or currently pursuing CPA licensure
-
Tech savvy with strong working knowledge of tax-related technology, including the use of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ProSystem and RIA Checkpoint are a plus

Excellent writing and communication skills

Ability to adapt and flourish in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
