Audit Manager
Serving as the liaison between the partner, the client, and the professional audit staff, the Audit Manager is responsible for leading our largest and most complex audit engagements.
You’ll also assume responsibility for staffing and managing multiple, less complex engagements which are typically led by Supervisors and Seniors.
To qualify, you must demonstrate the ability to manage the overall audit practice: assign appropriate staff; ensure effective/efficient performance; meet client deadlines; adhere to audit budgets; coordinate with other our pension and tax managers; review work of audit staff; and provide constructive, timely feedback to the audit staff.
You’ll participate in the administration of the firm through billings, review of accounts receivable, and monthly meetings with partners and supervisors.
You’ll also coordinate the internal peer review and play a key role in developing and updating the firm’s quality control processes.
The Audit Manager must also help develop new business for the firm while playing a key role in career development, mentoring, and culture cultivation for the entire audit staff.
1. Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in business or related fields.
2. Certified Public Accountants’ license- with audit attest signing capabilities.
3. 7+years’ recent public accounting experience demonstrating progressive supervisory experience.
Applicants for all positions must have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a demanding-yet-congenial environment. Nonprofit experience is useful.
