As an Accounting Advisory Consultant, you won't just "do the books"—you will lead high-stakes strategic initiatives including IPOs, M&A integrations, and global carve-outs. This role is designed for high-achieving professionals (CPAs, Audit Managers, and Senior Accountants) who want to escape the monotony of traditional corporate accounting and rapidly accelerate their marketability through diverse, high-visibility project work.

The Value Proposition
  • Significant Earnings Growth: Our consultants see a total compensation as very competitive in the advisory consulting market and compared to traditional roles.
  • Elite Benefits: Comprehensive medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with profit sharing, and generous paid time off.
  • Professional Development: Dedicated allowances for certifications and continuous learning to keep your skills at the cutting edge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Execution: Lead and support critical financial projects such as financial statement preparation, GAAP conversions, and internal audit transformations.
  • Client Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership, providing technical insights and operational excellence to ensure project success.
  • Agile Problem Solving: Quickly adapt to new industries and technical environments, delivering immediate value-add service upon deployment.
  • Firm Growth: Contribute to the local office culture through participation in recruiting, business development, and mentorship.

Qualifications & Technical Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA Credential: Active CPA license (or significant progress toward licensure) is preferred.
  • Public Accounting Roots: Minimum of 2 busy seasons in external audit with a Big 4 or mid-tier national CPA firm.
  • Leadership Experience: At least 1 busy season as a "Senior" in external audit is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of U.S. GAAP and FASB standards; advanced Excel skills (macros, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) are essential.
  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant technical accounting or strategic financial experience.

Professional Attributes
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: A proactive builder who is passionate about both client service and firm growth.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights for executive stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in various corporate cultures and industries.
