Position Summary
Our client is a full service accounting, auditing and financial services firm located in Pasadena and Woodland Hills in California, are seeking a highly motivated and experienced audit professional to be part of our growing team.

Description, Responsibilities & Requirements
Requirements:
- At least two years of public audit experience in public accounting
- CPA or demonstrating progress towards obtaining CPA certification
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university with a degree in accounting
- Proficiency in GAAP and GAAS procedures and standards
- Ability to problem solve and think independently with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, at all levels of the organization, internally and externally
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and audit software
Responsibilities:
- Ability to balance multiple projects while providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
- Preparation of financial statements and related disclosures with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy
- Communication with clients and understanding of client’s business
- Supervising and teaching staff and interns on engagements
- Keeping abreast of the latest developments and ensuring individual professional development through ongoing education
- Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they arise
- Recognizing opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients
