Tax Senior Manager

Responsibilities for Accounting Tax Senior Manager

  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in individual, and pass-through entity matters

  • Experience with High Net Worth individuals, preferred

  • Assure compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations

  • Minimize tax liability through sound and informed application of laws and regulations

  • Ability to anticipate client questions and be prepared to respond with implementable, practical and innovative solutions

  • Review completed returns and reports to ensure that they meet professional and Firm standards

  • Manage/develop client relationships and loyalty

  • Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients

  • Supervise multiple engagements simultaneously

  • Participate in assigning duties, developing and training seniors and associates

  • Gain respect of clients and staff

 

Qualifications for Accounting Tax Senior Manager

  • 7+ years experience in public accounting

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

  • Masters in Taxation//MBT a preferred

  • CPA license, or currently pursuing CPA licensure

  • Tech savvy with strong working knowledge of tax-related technology, including the use of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ProSystem and RIA Checkpoint are a plus

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Ability to adapt and flourish in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
