We are seeking a Tax Manager! You will be responsible for the effective management of a diverse client base and staff tax preparers to ensure that top quality deliverables are being produced in an efficient and profitable manner.
Responsibilities

Lead a team to ensure that the work is being assigned efficiently and that the team is being optimized and supported.

In addition to managing the team, the role will require document preparation as well as review.

Tax work includes preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership returns in a variety of industries. Complex assignments will involve the manager’s hands-on involvement in the preparation of advanced level returns.

Management of the preparation of income tax projections that involve multiple scenarios and analysis.

Coordination and communication with clients to obtain information essential to delivering tax services.

Serving as a technical resource to staff accountants, other managers and partners in areas in which you have acquired specialized skills

Research projects that require advanced skills and a high degree of professional judgment as to options and risk assessments. Some research projects could require a formal written tax memorandums.

Interact with others to meet client service deadlines.
Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
6+ years of progressive tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting

Licensed CPA
-
Strong leadership qualities
-
Ability to work under pressure
