SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT
We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team, a well-established CPA FIRM in Brentwood (Los Angeles, CA). Great opportunity to work in a full-service public accounting firm with over 30 years’ experience in providing accounting and tax preparation services.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and Review of Individual, Partnership, Corporate, Non-profit and Trust Tax Returns
- Periodic tax research
- Tax audit representation
- Tax planning and projections
Requirements:
- Strong current tax preparation experience (minimum of 4 years in a general public accounting/CPA Firm)
Preferences:
- Master’s in Business Taxation - preferred but not required
CPA License - preferred but not required
Qualifications:
- Fundamental knowledge of tax principles
Strong technical tax preparation skills (LACERTE software) - Detail and deadline driven
- Self-starter and self-motivated individual with exceptional work ethic
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Tax Audit is a plus
- Ability to work with staff members of diverse accounting background
- Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
- Excellent computer skills
