Job Description
Tax Senior
Summary
This is a tax role, based at our office, reporting to a Tax Principal. The role will provide an opportunity to work on a wide-ranging portfolio of clients.
The duties will include:
Preparation of complex Tax Returns, dealing with clients and arranging submission to HMRC.
Preparation of trust accounts and Tax Returns for submission to HMRC.
Preparation of Inheritance Tax Returns.
Dealing with queries and assisting tax staff and Principals.
Maintaining a record of Tax Returns and payments and ensuring all returns are filed and payments are made on time.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
CTA qualified with a desire to specialise in personal and trust tax.
2 years + experience, including dealing with trust Tax Returns.
Experience gained in practice.
Good IT skills and technical ability.
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
The ability to prioritise and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Employment details
Hours of work: preferred Full Time post, with flexibility over hours
Remuneration will be dependent on experience.
